What this run does not prove. These transactions used the repository-backed buyer orchestrator and all of them predate the v0.4.5 native OKX execution handoff. They do not demonstrate that handoff, and they do not demonstrate a cold external buyer. The artifact records nativeOkxHandoffLiveTested: false, and that limitation belongs next to the timings rather than only inside the file.
External buyer acceptance followed. A separate external operator using an OKX account and wallet they controlled later completed both then-listed services: an issuer-signed 5-share OPEN and an exact 5-share CLOSE. This founder-funded, assisted acceptance proves the marketplace journey with one external operator, not unassisted onboarding, organic demand, retention, or financial performance.
Timed by an independent observer, not self-reported. The target leg's 70.5s measures placing the resting order; it was later cancelled at zero fill, and the artifact records no elapsed time for that follow-up. It has no settlement transaction because it never filled, and a receipt claiming one would be manufactured.
Eleven ways to break it
Each leg was attacked as well as executed. These are the refusals the acceptance run recorded, and the leg each was tested in.
| The attempt | Tested in | Orders placed |
|---|---|---|
| Substituted outcome token | Open · Close · Target | 0 |
| Order crossing the price cap | Open | 0 |
| Substituted buyer wallet | Open | 0 |
| Rewritten share count | Close | 0 |
| Sale crossing the return floor | Close | 0 |
| Substituted source position | Close · Target | 0 |
| Expired card replayed | Close · Target | 0 |
| Payment alone, no trade consent | Close | 0 |
| Payment alone, no order consent | Target | 0 |
| Order crossing the target price | Target | 0 |
| Late reservation | Target | 0 |
Zero orders reached the venue in every case.
A bound that only holds when nothing goes wrong is not a bound. Property names are as recorded in conviction-live-acceptance-2026-07-22.json, so each row can be checked against the artifact rather than taken from this page.
Three boundaries
-
01
Custody is never transferred
The position settles into your own wallet. Conviction holds no collateral and cannot move it.
Refuses to take custody to execute faster
-
02
Payment is not permission
The fee buys one signed card describing an exact order. Authorising it is a separate act.
Refuses to trade because it was paid
-
03
The ceiling is never raised
You read the book first, then fix your maximum price and total debit. Nothing can raise them afterwards.
Refuses to fill above your cap
Two paid actions
0.05 USD₼0 Bounded position
0.10 USD₼0 Position manager
Fees settle on X Layer. Collateral is pUSD on Polygon and never passes through Conviction. Agent page: okx.ai/agents/7034; relisting is pending.
Check it yourself
npm run receipt:verify -- \
<intent.json> <txHash> <orderId>
Signed artifacts are in assets/. The verifier recomputes the intent hash and matches the settlement against the order actually authorised.
The featured July 22 round trip remains a controlled house proof: Conviction operated both sides to demonstrate the mechanism. Not external traction, not a track record, and no claim about returns. OKX.AI Agent #7034 is pending relisting; no endorsement is implied. Prediction markets can lose their full value.

No position loaded
Start from an issuer-signed OPEN proof. Conviction never guesses wallet holdings or accepts a screenshot.
Imported locally, maximum 512 KB. Its public source proof is sent only when Conviction runs the free verification.
Recover a pre-dossier OPEN
This migration path is only for a Conviction browser OPEN settled before signed dossiers were saved. It verifies the exact buyer pair, 0.05 USD₮0 payment, Polygon fill, CTF token, and current balance. It does not recreate missing pre-trade bounds.
Saved recovered positions
No payment, approval, or order is made during recovery.

Wallet Center · first-use readiness
Your wallet. Your permissions. Your position.
Prepare a buyer-controlled Polymarket Deposit Wallet without handing Conviction a private key or CLOB credential.
Use a dedicated low-balance buyer wallet.
This setup cannot bridge or acquire assets. After readiness, it can move an exact amount of existing Polygon pUSD from the confirmed Deposit Wallet with a separate wallet signature.

- 02Deploy the buyer-controlled Deposit Wallet
- 03Review Polymarket's reusable permissions

Wallets used by Conviction
One connected Owner EOA maps to one factory-derived Deposit Wallet. Public addresses are remembered in this browser. An unresolved exact pUSD transfer keeps only its short-lived, one-call signed request in local storage until Polygon confirmation; no private key or CLOB credential is stored.

Consent 1 of 2
Deploy the trading wallet
Polymarket's Builder relayer pays deployment gas. This creates the smart wallet and grants no token permission.

Review reusable venue permissions
These are Polymarket venue permissions, not a Conviction trade authorization. The current official flow does not expose a Deposit Wallet revoke command.

Security model
A narrow authority surface by design.
Conviction compiles and verifies intent. It never receives the buyer's private key or CLOB credentials.
Custody stays buyer-side.
The connected wallet signs locally. Conviction's only server-side private key is its own Ed25519 issuer key for execution cards.
- No buyer mnemonic handling
- No CLOB credential collection
- No pooled trading account
Payment is not permission to trade.
An X Layer payment purchases one fresh signed card. A second explicit confirmation remains mandatory for the exact Polygon order.
- Separate consent events
- Five-minute signed window
- One selected market and wallet
Evidence is recomputed.
Conviction reads the canonical receipt and rejects substitutions across wallet, token, amount, price, block, exchange, or order.
- Issuer signature verified
- CTF market identity derived
- Deterministic proof hash
First-time Polymarket setup is broader than one trade.
The current Deposit Wallet setup uses two reusable pUSD allowances and three reusable outcome-token operator permissions. Conviction displays that scope before consent, recommends a dedicated low-balance wallet, and will not bypass a wallet or organization policy.
